This digital inquiry unpacks the historical concepts of discovery, exploration, cause and effect, perspectives and significance.

Working through 12 learning challenges, students solve problems collaboratively and engage in dialogue to gain an understanding of the impact European explorers had on the Australian Aboriginal people and their land. Students respond using a variety of forms, including photographic, video, audio, written and selection tasks to show their understanding.

Upon returning to school, teachers are able to download these responses, serving as assessment data which can be used to inform future learning engagements.

What to bring
